IP Transit & Bandwidth

Customers need worldwide point-to-point Internet access -- if you can get a cross-connect to one of our core network nodes, then we can connect you to the world. We offer over 130 POPs spread across North America, Europe, and Asia. Hurricane currently has over 19000 BGP sessions with over 6000 different networks; that means fewer hops and lower latency for you and your business.

Wholesale Private Data Centers

Hurricane Electric offers approximately 250,000 square feet of colocation space in the Bay Area. Staff is on hand 24x7x365 to offer support, access, and HE's “Remote Hands” service. All datacenters utilize rigorous security procedures (keycard entry systems, 24/7 digital CCTV monitoring, etc.) and feature redundant HVAC units, back up battery systems, and diesel generators.

Dedicated Servers

For those requiring the web server performance that only a dedicated server can provide, Hurricane Electric offers a wide range of servers from which to choose. Dedicated servers may be either fully managed by Hurricane Electric, using our own customized flavor of Linux or managed by the account owner, with complete root access.

Colocation

Our blue colocation cabinets are only getting more and more popular. Each individually locking cabinet features standard 19” rails (with deep cabinets available for longer servers) and a variety of power and connectivity options. All cabinets are supplied with conditioned and clean power from multiple PDUs and UPSs.

Layer 2 Transport

Hurricane Electric’s Layer 2 Transport services provide our customers with virtual circuits between our many Point-Of-Presence (POP) locations. We have over eighty core router POPs located in major cities in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia and we are adding new 100 GigE sites every month.

Web Hosting & Email

Hurricane Electric began offering web hosting service over twenty years ago. Each account comes with POP3/IMAP email boxes, Webmail, Anti-Spam Filters and of course, every account is IPv6 enabled!
