Can I prepay for a web account?

You can prepay for a year by check for any account. With the Professional Virtual Host and Enhanced Virtual Host Accounts we'll need to have a credit card number on file in addition to the prepayment. Prepayments are non-refundable (a 1 year prepayment is a 1 year commitment).

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Mail us a check paying for one full year.
  2. Make the check out to Hurricane Electric, including the name of your account on the check.
  3. Mail the check, along with a note specifying that you're prepaying for an account, and your account name to:
     Hurricane Electric
     760 Mission Ct
     Fremont, CA 94539

Is there a per hit charge?

No.

Will I have to pay an additional set-up fee if later I decide to upgrade to a Professional Virtual Host Account?

There is no additional set up fee for upgrading from any Virtual Host account type to any other Virtual Host account type.
